Pregnancy Due Date Calculator

Find out when your baby is due based on your last period, conception date, or IVF transfer date.

Enter the first day of your last menstrual period (LMP). This is the most common method.

How Is the Due Date Calculated?

The most common method is Naegele's rule: add 280 days (40 weeks) to the first day of your last menstrual period (LMP). This assumes a 28-day cycle with ovulation on day 14.

If you know the exact conception date, the due date is 266 days later. For IVF pregnancies, the calculation adjusts based on whether a Day 3 or Day 5 embryo was transferred (263 or 261 days respectively).

Keep in mind that only about 5% of babies arrive exactly on their due date. Most are born within a two-week window around it. Your doctor may adjust the date based on ultrasound measurements.

What Are the Trimesters?

First Trimester: Weeks 1 – 12

Second Trimester: Weeks 13 – 27

Third Trimester: Weeks 28 – 40
